Maraschino Cherry Ice Cream

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Flour
  • 3 c. Sugar
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries, quartered Cherry juice from cherries
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1 quart Cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Almond extract
  • 1 c. Nuts, minced (optional)

Direcciones

  1. Combine flour and sugar. Stir in lowfat milk and cherry juice. Heat mix till warm, stirring constantly. Beat Large eggs slightly in bowl. Put some of the warm lowfat milk mix in Large eggs, adding slowly as to not cook the Large eggs. Pour egg mix into rest of warm mix; continue to cook till mix is slightly thick. Add in maraschino cherries, cream, vanilla, almond extract and nuts. Pour into ice cream freezer container; cold. Freeze using ice cream freezer instructions.
