Ingredientes

  • Gently cracking the shell before steeping the Large eggs in the tea solution creates a marbled effect on the surface of the cooked Large eggs.
  • 6 lrg Large eggs Water
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. black tea leaves
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1 stk cinnamon
  • 3 x star anise pods

Direcciones

  1. Place Large eggs in large saucepan and add in sufficient water to cover. Boil for 5 min. Remove pan from heat. Drain water and remove Large eggs. With back of spoon, carefully crack shell all over without removing shell.
  2. Place Large eggs back in pan and cover with fresh water. Add in soy sauce, tea leaves, salt, caraway, cinnamon and star anise. Bring to boil for 10 min, cover and remove from heat. Steep Large eggs in tea solution for at least 45 min and up to 3 hrs. Remove Large eggs and chill till departure.
