Ingredientes

  • 1 lg. can tomatoes
  • 1 sm. onion, minced fine
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped very fine
  • 2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoon parsley
  • 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 to 2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1 lg. bay leaf
  • 1 tomato paste or possibly puree

Direcciones

  1. Heat extra virgin olive oil in large saucepan till haze forms. Saute/fry onions and garlic for 1 minute. Add in tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper, bay leaf. Simmer 10 min. Add in basil, oregano and parsley, simmer 20 min longer. Adjust thickness of sauce with tomato paste or possibly puree.
