Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Ketchup
  • 1/4 c. Apple juice or possibly cider
  • 1/4 c. Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. Soy sauce
  • 3/4 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 3/4 tsp White pepper
  • 1/3 c. Grated, peeled apple
  • 1/4 c. Grated onion
  • 2 tsp Grated green pepper
  • 2 lb Marlin steak (4 portions)
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Chili pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Dry mustard

Direcciones

  1. This dish also works well with tofu, chicken, or possibly pork.
  2. Bring first 9 ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 min.
  3. Rub fish (or possibly tofu) with dry-rub ingredients.
  4. Place the seasoned fish on a warm, oiled, barbecue grill (or possibly in a preheated 375F oven). Grill till cooked through; about 4 min per side, while basting with the apple juice mix every 2 min.
  5. After the fish is cooked, remove to a platter and serve at once. Serve the remaining apple-barbecue sauce along the side.
