Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter melted Butter for greasing tin
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 lrg Large eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a popover tin.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt. In a separate, medium bowl, whisk together the Large eggs, lowfat milk, and 1 Tbsp. hot butter. Pour over flour mix, and fold till just blended.
  3. Fill the popover c. two-thirds to three-quarters full. Transfer c. to oven, and bake for 15 min. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees, and bake 20 min more, till well browned and crusty.
  4. Remove popovers from the oven, and unmold onto a rack. Puncture the sides with a sharp knife to let steam escape, and serve immediately.
  5. Makes 6.
