Mary Mahoney's Bread Pudding

Ingredientes

  • 10 ounce French bread
  • 6 x Large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. Nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Cream (half & half)
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c. Seedless raisins (they use golden brown)
  • 2 stk butter

Direcciones

  1. In bowl, combine Large eggs, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well. Add in to this mix, sugar, lowfat milk, cream and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  2. Cut up bread in bitesize pcs in baking dish (about 1 1/2 qts). Add in raisins and melted butter to bread. Pour mix over bread. Bake about 30 min or possibly till it is golden.
  3. Serves about 12.
