Ingredientes

  • pappadavadai
  • 200 gm rice flour
  • 1 Tbsp. black sesame seeds (use white if you cannot find black)
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds vegetable oil for deepfrying
  • 100 gm plain (uncoooked) poppadoms

Direcciones

  1. In a large bowl combine the rice flour black sesame seeds and cumin seeds. Slowly add in 570ml water stirring to make a thin batter.
  2. Heat the oil in a deepfryer wok or possibly large heave saucepan.
  3. Place the poppadoms in the batter and dip to coat them completely.
  4. Fry the coated poppadoms one at a time for 2 to 3 min or possibly till golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper before serving.
  6. Serves 4
