Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. rice
  • 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 lg. head cabbage
  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1/4 pound grnd pork
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. warm water

Direcciones

  1. Cook rice in 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk over low heat till fluffy. Remove cabbage leaves from head and immerse in boiling, salted water; cook till partially translucent/soft and pliable: drain.
  2. Combine meats with 1 c. lowfat milk, salt, pepper and rice; mix thoroughly. Spoon meat mix on each leaf; roll and tie.
  3. Brown rolls in warm fat; sprinkle with brown sugar; add in water; cover and cook slowly about 2 hrs. Thicken broth for gravy. Makes 6 servings.
