Ingredientes

  • 9 inch unbaked pie shell
  • 1/2 pound grnd chuck (hamburger may be used, well liquid removed of grease)
  • 1/2 c. finely minced onion
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. sweet cream or possibly 3/4 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Healthy pinch of oregano
  • 1 sm. can tomato paste
  • 1/4 c. minced sweet pepper
  • 1/4 c. finely minced celery ( use whole celery seed, 1/2 teaspoon if I'm out of
  • fresh celery)
  • 8 ounce. cheddar or possibly Swiss cheese, cubed
  • Parmesan cheese, grated

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees and bake crust for about 5 min. Cover bottom of crust with Parmesan cheese. Set aside. Cook meat in two heaping spoons of butter till all the red is gone. Remove the meat from the drippings add in the minced onion, pepper and celery; cook till tender. Add in slightly beaten egg to cream, stir in the cooked vegetables, then the tomato paste. This makes a thick sauce. Place the cubed cheese in crust, then add in the meat, and lastly the sauce. Cook in 375 degree oven about 25 min or possibly till set. Serve hot. (May be frzn and reheated, 350 degrees.)
