Ingredientes

  • 1/2 to 3/4 pound grnd beef
  • Onion
  • 1/3 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/2 tbsp. parsley, optional
  • 1 can beef broth
  • Oil, to brown beef
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 sm. can tomatoes
  • 1 pkg. peas & carrots, frzn
  • Mashed potatoes

Direcciones

  1. Make meat balls from grnd beef, onion, bread crumbs, garlic, salt, rosemary, parsley, pepper and 1/4 c. beef broth. Shape into balls, roll into flour, saute/fry in oil till brown. Remove to large bowl, blend in remaining flour stirring constantly till mix browns. Stir in remaining beef broth and tomatoes, breaking them with spoon. Cook till thickened and boil 1 min. Simmer 10 min after adding meat balls.
  2. While meat simmers, cook peas and carrots till tender. Drain, add in to stew. Simmer 5 min. Just before serving, spoon mashed potatoes into ring around edge. Sprinkle with paprika.
