Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lbs. grnd beef
  • 3/4 c. rolled oats, uncooked
  • 1 sm. onion, minced (approx. 1/2 c.)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. For meat balls: Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Shape to create walnut sized balls. Brown in oil in large skillet. Remove meat balls.
  2. For sauce: Add in flour to meat drippings in skillet; stir together over low heat till brown and bubbly. Slowly stir in water (you may use half water, half lowfat milk) and continue stirring till thickened to make gravy. Stir in mushroom soup.
  3. Return meat balls to sauce. Cover, simmer for 30 min. Just before serving, stir in lowfat sour cream. Serve over warm buttered rice or possibly noodles.
