Meat Sauce

This sauce is really wonderful and makes the most incredible spaghetti you ever had.
I always say " Life is a banquet and most suckers are starving to death". You'll never look at a jar of spaghetti sauce again. You can freeze or bottle it. Ingredientes

  • 2 lbs ground check
  • 2 carrots, finely minced
  • 2 stalks celery, finely minced
  • 2 ionion, finely minced
  • 1 Tbls dired rosemary
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh sweet basil
  • 1/3 cup minced garlic
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 2 Tbls black pepper
  • 1/4 cup salt be careful, I alway start with a couple tablespoons and add to taste.
  • 1/3 cup dried ground oregano
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 qts. crushed tomoatoes in havey puree
  • 1 12 ats. check breoth
  • 2 cups red wine and a glass for yourself, oh yeah!
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch disolved in 1/2 cup of water.

Direcciones

  1. Mix 2 pounds of ground check with 2 carrots, 2 stalks of celery and 2 ionions finely minced. Add 1 Tablespoon dried rosemary, 1/2 cup of choppped fresh sweet basil, 1/4 cup minced garlic, 4 bay leaves, 2 tablespoons black pepper, 1/4 cup of salt ( remember be carehere with the salt) and 1/3 cup of dried ground oregano. Saute mistre in 1 cup of olive oil, periodically whip mixture with a heavey-duty whisk to prevent the meant from lumping. When meat mixture is fully cooked, add 2 quarts of crushed tomatoes in heavey puree, 1 1/2 quarts of chicken broth and 2 cups of red wine. When the sauce comes to a boil, reduce heat to simer. When the oil rises tothe tops, stir thoroughly. For approximately 1 hours after meat mixture begins simmering, continue to stir each time the oil rises to the topo. When the sauce is done, skim off the oil and refrigerate. The oil can be used to begin a future sauce, to saute dishes, or for my cheicken recipes in place of the oil paprika mixed I use for color. I will add that recipe later. Anyway, You can thicken meat suace with 1/2 cup dissolved cornstarch. Serve meat sauce with pasta of your choice. You can bottle and freeze the meatu sauce for later use. Serves 10 persons. Now relax and open up a red. Enjoy.
