Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Grnd Veal
  • 1 lb Grnd Pork
  • 1/4 c. Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. Light Cream or possibly Half & Half
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 lrg Onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter or possibly Shortening
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 c. Raw Long Grain Rice
  • 10 3/4 ounce Condensed Onion Soup
  • 10 3/4 ounce Beer

Direcciones

  1. Meatball Cakes***
  2. Brown onions in butter or possibly shortening for 5 min, set aside to cold. In a large bowl place the grnd meats. Using an electric beater on low speed, add in the flour, salt, pepper, then the Large eggs one at a time, then the cream and lowfat milk. Finally add in the onions, mixing all well. Shape into 6-8 oval cakes. Fry on both sides about 30 min or possibly bake uncovered for 45 min in a preheated 350F oven
  3. Beer Rice***
  4. Heat oil over medium heat. Add in rice and brown lightly stirring constantly.
  5. Add in soup and beer, stir well. Sover tightly and simmer till all liquid is abosrbed, about 25 min.
