Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1 lrg (1 c.) Onion, chipped
  • 1 med (1 c.) Green pepper, minced
  • 1 clv garlic, chopped
  • 1 can (15.5 ounce) Chili beans
  • 1 can (15.5 ounce) Great Northern beans rinsed, liquid removed
  • 1 can (14.5z) Diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (8 ounce) Tomato sauce
  • 4 tsp Chili pwdr
  • 1 tsp Grnd cumin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 c. Water
  • 2 c. Elbow macaroni, uncooked

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil in dutch oven over medium heat. Add in onion, green pepper and garlic; cook and stir till tender, about 3 min.
  2. Add in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover.
  3. Simmer 15 min or possibly till liquid is absorbed and macroni is tender. Stirring occasionally.
  4. Garnish individual servings with dollops of lowfat sour cream, if you like
