Mix the flour, salt in a bowl and knead it into a soft and pliable dough by adding water. Rest the dough for about 30 minutes.

Again knead the dough for 2-3 minutes and divide it into small logs.

Roll out each log as thin as possible into discs with the help of rolling pin. Try to dust it with minimum flour while rolling it out.

With the help of a butter knife or pizza cutter cut them into small squares. Take each square piece and shape it like a flower. Lift each edge, fold and press to you get a flower shape as in the pic .

Allow these to dry overnight or at least for 5-6 hours.

Once dried, deep fry them and keep aside.

For the Milk Sauce

Heat milk and a cup of water in a heavy bottomed pan over medium heat. Add these small pieces and cook them for about 15-20 minutes until they become soft. Add more water to cook it through if needed.

Then add the sugar and bring it to a boil. Finally add the fried raisins and almonds.
