Receta Menu Plan Monday August 12-18, 2013

This isn’t a very fancy menu but like last week we are cleaning out the freezer. This fall we are planning on buying ground beef, boneless chicken breast, and bacon in bulk. With that being said we have to get our freezer cleaned out. That is about 120 pounds of meat we will be getting in. This will average out to be about $350 for all the meat but it averages about to be less than $3 a pound. Not bad at all considering the ground beef is 93/7, the chicken is boneless and the bacon is center cut.

I am loving seeing the freezer clearing out. Who knew in 8 months the freeze could become almost full. We bought it in January and in just a matter of time you couldn’t find a thing in it. Not that I am complaining. I am not complaining!

We are keeping it easy this week as you can see. Sad face L school starts next week so we have been busy getting everything ready. So here we go!
