Meringue Covered Nuts

Ingredientes

  • 2 x egg whites
  • 2 c. pecan halves
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla flavoring Dash of cinnamon or possibly other desired spice

Direcciones

  1. Press lumps out of brown sugar. In medium bowl, beat egg whites till stiff, then mix in the brown sugar. Add in vanilla and spice and mix well. Pour nuts in prepared meringue and, using wooden spoon, mix well till all are covered with the meringue. Spray cookie sheet lightly with cooking spray. Place nuts individually on cookie sheet(s) and bake in preheated 250 degree oven for 30 min. Remove from oven and let cold.
