Ingredientes

  • 1 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 5 x Egg white
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Combine sugar and water in a suacepan, and cook over medium flame till syrup spins a long thread from the tip of spoon. Remove from heat and add in vanilla. Set pan in cool water and while syrup is cooling, beat egg whites till stiff but not dry. Add in beaten egg whites to syrup and beat constantly till mix becomes a smooth paste. Tint with 4 drops of food colouring, if you like. This frosting may be used as decorative icing or possibly to make meringues, tarts, or possibly pies.
