- 1/2 cup lime juice ( squeezed freshly from KEY Limes )
- freshly grated zest of 3 small limes.
- For Cream:
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
- 1 tbsp sugar

%20that%20are%20loaded%20with%20fruits.%20When%20he%20asked%20me%20to%20bake%20a%20Key%20Lime%20Pie,%20I%20decided%20to%20make%20it%20as%20I%20was%20sure%20with%20this%20there%20isn't%20gonna%20be%20a%20fight%20feeding%20him%20dessert%20:D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20had%20never%20eaten%20a%20Key%20Lime%20Pie%20(%20Somehow%20never%20felt%20like%20tasting%20a%20tart%20dessert).....So%20I%20quickly%20googled%20and%20settled%20on%20Martha%20Stewart's%20website%20for%20the%20recipe%20and%20the%20only%20change%20I%20did%20is%20added%20a%20little%20sugar%20too%20to%20make%20sure%20the%20pie%20is%20not%20too%20tarty%20and%20reduced%20the%20amount%20of%20zest.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20I%20had%20never%20tasted%20a%20lime%20pie%20before;%20my%20cousin%20was%20the%20judge%20for%20the%20recipe.%20I%20was%20so%20happy%20to%20hear%20that%20this%20Key%20Lime%20Pie%20turned%20out%20great%20and%20he%20really%20liked%20it.%20:)%20Everyone%20in%20the%20family%20loved%20the%20pie%20including%20me%20and%20next%20time%20I%20won't%20hesitate%20to%20try%20a%20tart%20dessert%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20Crust%20and%20Pie%20filling:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMethod:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Pre-heat%20oven%20to%20375%20degress%20F.%20Combine%20crushed%20graham%20crackers,%20metled%20butter%20and%203%20tbsp%20sugar%20in%20a%20bowl%20and%20mix%20nicely.%20Then%20press%20into%20a%209-inch%20pie%20plate%20and%20bake%20in%20the%20pre-heated%20oven%20for%2015%20minutes.%20Remove%20from%20oven%20and%20let%20it%20cool%20completely%20over%20a%20wire%20rack.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Lower%20oven%20to%20325%20degree%20F.%20In%20a%20medium%20bowl,%20gently%20whisk%20together%20the%20condensed%20milk,%20egg%20yolks,%20lime%20juice,%202%20tbsp%20sugar%20and%20the%20zest.%20Pour%20into%20the%20prepared%20cooled%20crust.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Bake%20the%20pie%20in%20oven%20for%2015-17%20minutes%20until%20the%20center%20is%20set%20but%20still%20quivers%20when%20you%20nudge%20the%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20Let%20it%20cool%20completely%20on%20wire%20rack%20and%20refrigerate%20later.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20Right%20before%20serving,%20whisk%20the%20heavy%20cream%20and%201%20tbsp%20of%20sugar%20in%20ur%20electric%20mixer%20with%20whisk%20attachment%20or%20electric%20hand%20blender%20until%20it%20forms%20soft%20peaks.%20Spread%20it%20over%20the%20cooled%20pie.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEnjoy%20the%20dessert!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMerry%20Christmas%20and%20enjoy%20the%20holidays.%20I'll%20be%20back%20with%20Fruit%20Cake%20soon.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESending%20this%20to%20Champa's%20Bake%20Off%20Event.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
