Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Wheat flour
  • 1/4 c. Gramflour
  • 1/4 c. Rice flour
  • 1 bn Methi, (fenugreek) leaves cleaned
  • 1/2 bn Coriander leaves cleaned
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 3 x Green chillies crushed
  • 2 tsp Red chilli pwdr
  • 1/4 x Turmeric pwdr Salt to taste Oil to shallow fry

Direcciones

  1. Sieve flours together. Wash and chop greens finely.
  2. Mix all ingredients except oil to shallow fry.
  3. Knead into a soft pliable dough using as much water as required.
  4. Divide the dough into 10-12 parts and knead into rounds.
  5. Roll into a chappati, about 6" in diameter with the help of some flour.
  6. Shallowfry on a warm griddle applying some oil on both sides until done.
  7. Repeat for all. Cold to room temperature.
  8. Pack in foil or possibly store in a tight-lidded container.
  9. Eat with sweet or possibly warm mango pickle or possibly curds.
  10. Making time: 30 min.
  11. Makes: 10-12 theplas
  12. Shelflife: 2-3 days.
