Receta Mexican Bruschetta-Cacique Product Review
Mexican Bruschetta-Cacique Product Review
This is another recipe that was sent with a wonderful box filled with Cacique Mexican food products by the company. I have seen these products before and have always loved using everything that I bought. So what to do with all these great items?? Have a Mexican feast! I think I’ve mentioned before that I think I am part Mexican and Italian (only by the food I love, not by the blood in my veins), so this recipe along with a product review mixes the best of both those worlds. My Mexican version of Italian bruschetta…
Mexican Bruschetta
- 3 Roma tomatoes-diced
- 1 red onion-diced
- 2 tablespoons Poblano chili-diced small
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- juice of 1 lime
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 loaf of french bread-sliced 1/2”
- 1 package Cacique Panela sliced 1/4 “
non-stick cooking spray
DIRECTIONS:
Mix all of the first 6 ingredients together and let sit to marry. In a skillet over medim heat, spray the pan with cooking spray, then place the pieces of Panela, turning after only about 30 seconds. Place each cheese piece on a piece of french bread, top with the Pico de Gallo and eat up!!
**Panela is an “artian” cheese made in the USA. It is mellow and mild and delicious with its fresh milk flavor. It will soften when heated and will not string. Sear to create a golden shell.
**anniebakes was given this product by Cacique to test and taste, but all of the reviews recipe interpretations and opinions are my own.
