Ingredientes

  • 1 lb grnd round
  • 1 x onion, minced
  • 1 x 10-ounce. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 c. rice
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 pkt taco seasoning
  • 1 x and 1/2 c. lettuce, minced
  • 1 x tomato, minced
  • 1 c. black olives, sliced
  • 1 x avocado, diced
  • 2 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream Tortilla chips

Direcciones

  1. Cook hamburger and onion together in a skillet till meat is well done. Drain off fat. Add in canned tomatoes, rice, water and taco seasoning. Cook over medium heat till rice absorbs the water. Remove from heat and add in lettuce, tomato, black olives, avocado, cheese and lowfat sour cream to the top of the hamburger and rice. Serve with tortilla chips. This dish is a sort of hybrid taco salad. The rice takes up much of the room which would otherwise be occupied by tortilla chips so the end result should be healthful.
  2. Chefs Notes: Use the leanest grnd round you can find and low fat lowfat sour cream.
