Ingredientes

  • 1 c. white rice, uncooked
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 4 c. tomato juice
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 green pepper, minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 c. onion, minced
  • 2 fresh or possibly 1 (18 ounce.) can of tomatoes, minced

Direcciones

  1. Fry rice in oil till browned. Heat tomato juice and add in to rice. Add in all remaining ingredients and simmer covered over a low heat till tomato juice is absorbed and the rice is tender, about 20 min.
  2. Cooked hamburger may be added to make a complete casserole.
