%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20began%20by%20making%20the%20dressing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20can%20make%20this%20in%20your%20food%20processor%20or%20blender%20or%20if%20you've%20got%20an%20immersion%20blender%20like%20my%20Cuisinart%20CSB-76%20Smart%20Stick%20Hand%20Blender%20then%20you%20can%20use%20that%20and%20cut%20down%20on%20dishes!%20I%20gathered%20the%20dressing%20ingredients:%20avocado,%20fresh%20lemon%20juice,%20mayonnaise,%20olive%20oil,%20hot%20sauce,%20garlic,%20and%20salt.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20combined%20them%20in%20my%20blender%20cup%20and%20took%20my%20immersion%20blender%20for%20a%20spin.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20makes%20a%20really%20thick,%20creamy%20dressing%20that%20clings%20to%20the%20salad%20ingredients%20beautifully.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENext,%20I%20assembled%20the%20salad.%20I%20started%20with%203-4%20hearts%20of%20romaine,%20because%20they%20were%20on%20sale%20this%20week%20at%20ALDI.%20Then%20I%20sliced%20some%20tomatoes%20and%20tossed%20them%20in.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENext,%20I%20tossed%20in%20the%20chips%20and%20cheese.%20I%20had%20about%20a%20cup%20of%20generic%20brand%20Fritos%20left%20in%20a%20bag%20in%20the%20pantry,%20so%20I%20used%20them%20up%20and%20added%20in%20a%20cup%20of%20crushed%20tortilla%20chips%20too.%20I%20added%20a%20little%20over%20half%20a%20cup%20of%20Mexican%20blend%20shredded%20cheese%20over%20the%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20came%20some%20sliced%20green%20onion%20and%20a%20can%20of%20black%20beans,%20drained%20and%20rinsed.%20You%20can%20really%20make%20this%20salad%20your%20own,%20adding%20in%20sliced%20black%20olives%20and%20jalapenos%20or%20whatever%20you%20like.%20I%20tossed%20the%20ingredients%20together%20and%20then...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPoured%20on%20the%20dressing.%20I%20used%20my%20big%20purple%20bowl%20for%20this%20recipe%20for%20no%20other%20reason%20except%20that%20it%20has%20a%20well-fitted%20lid.%20I%20put%20the%20lid%20on%20a%20gave%20this%20a%20serious%20shake%20to%20coat%20all%20of%20the%20salad%20ingredients%20with%20the%20dressing.%20If%20you%20don't%20have%20a%20lid%20for%20your%20bowl,%20no%20biggie...just%20toss%20it%20really%20well%20as%20the%20dressing%20is%20thick%20and%20you%20want%20to%20taste%20it%20on%20every%20bite%20of%20the%20salad...it%20is%20SO%20good!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20you're%20ready%20to%20serve.%20Man,%20this%20is%20a%20fabulous%20salad!%20I'm%20definitely%20making%20it%20again.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombine%20all%20ingredients%20in%20a%20big%20serving%20bowl%20and%20toss%20well%20with%20dressing.%20Serve%20immediately.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
