- Combine butter and 1/4 c. confectioners' sugar in mixing bowl with mixer till light and fluffy. Stir in flour. Stir in pecans till well blended.
- Using about 1 level measuring tablespoonful for each cookie, shape dough into balls and place 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheets.
- Bake in preheated moderate oven (350 degrees) for 15 min or possibly till hard.
- Transfer cookies to a wire rack placed over sheet of waxed paper to cold completely. Dust with remaining 2 Tbsp. confectioners' sugar. Store cookies in tightly sealed container at room temperature. These cookies can be placed in a freezer.
