Ingredientes

  • 2 med Onions, minced
  • 1 lrg Green pepper, diced
  • 1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 lb Grnd round
  • 6 sm Tomatos (or possibly 1 8-oz can)
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. Vinegar
  • 1/4 c. Pimiento-stuffed green olives, minced
  • 1/2 c. Raisins
  • 1 Tbsp. Capers
  • 1/2 c. Red wine, tomato juice or possibly bouillon

Direcciones

  1. Brown onions and green pepper in extra virgin olive oil. Add in meat, minced tomatoes, salt, garlic and black pepper and stir frequently to break up and large chunks. Add in remaining ingredients and simmer slowly till meat is tender and flavors have developed, about 30 min. Serve with rice. Miami Cuban Picadillo
