Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. Cocoa pwdr
  • 1/2 c. Boiling water
  • 3 stk butter
  • 2 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 3 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 4 c. Powdered sugar
  • 12 Tbsp. Butter - softened
  • 6 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 3 tsp Vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Directions: Batter - Whisk together the cocoa pwdr and boiling water.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar till light and fluffy in a separate bowl. Add in the vanilla and Large eggs one at a time, mixing well. Mix together the cocoa mix and the lowfat milk. To the egg mix, alternately add in the lowfat milk, cocoa and flour. Finally, fold in the baking soda. Pour the batter proportionately into three 8" cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 min.
  3. Frosting - In a large bowl, combine the ingredients with an electric mixer till smooth. Add in more lowfat milk if necessary, till frosting is fluffy and spreadable. Place cake on platter. Spread with frosting in layers.
