Ingredientes

  • 2 Packages yeast
  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 c. water
  • Cornmeal

Direcciones

  1. Combine 3 c. flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and soda. Heat liquids till very hot (120 to 130 degrees). Add in to dry mix; beat well. Stir in rest of flour (2 c.) to make a stiff batter. Spoon into 2 (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch pans which have been greased and sprinkled with cornmeal. Cover and let rise in hot place for 45 min. Microwave each loaf on high power for 6 1/2 min. Surface will be flat and pale. Let rest 5 min before removing from pan. Great toasted!
