Making these microwave Lamb Tikkas are the easiest.I make them all the time for snacks or dinner.Very simple to make it calls for some of the most common ingredients that you could usually easily find in your pantry.Give it a go and you'll not regret!.

Ingredientes

  • 500 gm boneless lamb diced
  • 200 gm Greek or plain yogurt
  • 1.5 tsp ground cumin seeds
  • 1.5 tsp ground coriander
  • 1.5 tsp red chili powder(or you could use paprika instead)
  • 1.5 tsp garlic paste
  • 2 tsp salt
  • a pinch of sugar
  • 1 tsp dry mint powder
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves(flat leaf parsley will do too)
  • 3 tbsp lime or lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1.5 tbsp tomato puree
  • FOR GARNISHING:
  • 8-10 thinly sliced onion rings
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Direcciones

  1. Mix together lamb,yogurt,garlic paste,salt,sugar,dry mint powder,1 tbsp chopped coriander and lemon juice and keep aside covered for an hour.
  2. heat oil in a microwave safe bowl for 20 seconds
  3. add tomato puree to the bowl and again cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the marinated lamb pieces and 3 tbsp water and cook for 5-7 min on high power,partially covered,giving vent to steam.
  5. Place tikkas in a serving plate.Garnish with onion rings and chopped coriander.
  6. Serve this with hot steaming rice,plain and some green salad on the side.
