Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. finely minced onion
  • 1/2 c. shredded carrots
  • 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can (16 ounce.) chicken broth
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 can (4 ounce.) minced green chilies
  • 1 jar (8 ounce.) Cheez Whiz with jalapenos
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Tortilla chips

Direcciones

  1. Place onion, carrots, celery and butter in a 2-qt glass bowl. Microwave on high for 4 min. Stir in flour, spices, sauce, broth, lowfat milk and chilies. Cook on high for 4 min, stirring once.
  2. Add in cheeses, cook on high for 6 to 7 min or possibly till cheese is melted. Serve with heated tortilla chips.
