Ingredientes

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 2 (6 1/2 ounce.) cans chopped clams, drain & reserve 1/3 c. liquid
  • 1 1/2 c. potatoes, cut in 1/2" cubes
  • 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 c. half and half

Direcciones

  1. Place bacon in 2 qt casserole. Microwave on high till bacon is crisp, about 3 to 4 min.
  2. Add in reserved clam juice, potatoes, and onions. Cover. Microwave on high till potatoes are tender, about 8 to 10 min, stirring after half of cooking time.
  3. Blend in flour. Stir in lowfat milk, salt and pepper. Microwave till thick, about 5 to 7 min. Stir after half of cooking time. Blend in half and half; stir in clams. Microwave at medium high till heated and thickened. Stir 2 or possibly 3 times while cooking.
