Ingredientes

  • 1 pound grnd chuck
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. finely minced onion
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 c. finely minced onion
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce

Direcciones

  1. Combine meat, egg, 1/4 c. onion, salt and pepper in bowl. Mix well. Shape mix into 24 meatballs. Place in 12x8-inch glass baking dish. Microwave at HIGH 2 min. Turn meatballs over and rearrange. Microwave at HIGH 2 min, or possibly till hard. Pour off excess fat. Cover with waxed paper and let set.
  2. Combine 1/4 c. onion and butter in 1 1/2-qt glass casserole. Microwave at HIGH 3 min, or possibly till onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Microwave at HIGH 3 min, or possibly till warm. Pour sauce over meatballs. Serve with warm rice.
  3. Serves 4. An alternative to a main dish meal is to serve these meatballs as an appetizer.
