Receta Midweek Menu #14 ~ Sheet Pan Brats & Potatoes

A sheet pan dinner with brats and potatoes, along with a crispy salad with homemade ranch dressing plus a slice of carrot cake is a “crazy good” dinner that your family and even your friends are bound to love! Sheet pan cooking is not a fad, it’s a way of cooking that is here to stay! I have several go-to recipes using this method and honestly, they are some of my all time favs. I love being able to cook my protein along with my veggies in one pan and when it’s time to eat, I just let everyone serve themselves. Clean up is easy since you’ve cooked everything in one pan…yippee! This menu is packed with high powered flavors yet is easy to pull together. I’ve included my take on “homemade” Ranch dressing. I start with a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing then add a few extras for good measure. I use it not only as a salad dressing but also as a dip with chips, carrots and celery. To complete the line up with week, I’ve added in a cake recipe. Carrot cake is simple to make even though the list of ingredients might seem a little daunting. I’m sure you have everything you need right in your pantry and spice cabinet so give it a try! It’s great as a dessert and really good with a cup of coffee in the morning.
