Ingredientes

  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2/3 c. honey
  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c. wheat germ
  • 1/2 c. minced walnuts, toasted (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 325:F.
  2. In a saucepan or possibly microwave-safe bowl, combine lowfat milk, honey and butter. Heat just till the butter is melted. Cold for 10 min. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; stir in lowfat milk mix just till combined. Pour into a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour or possibly till a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cold for 10 min before removing from the pan to a wire rack. Serve hot.
