Ingredientes

  • 1 c. hulled millet
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 large eggs, separated and beaten well separately
  • Minced pecans or possibly walnuts

Direcciones

  1. Bring millet and water to a boil. Let set 1/2 hour (this prevents it getting too mushy when cooked). Add in lowfat milk and cook 30 min. Add in butter and salt. Cool about 5 min. Add in beaten yolks and mix in beaten whites. Put into 8 x 8 inch greased casserole. Top with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. Serve with syrup.
