Ingredientes

  • 2/3 c. butter
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 1 c. unsweetened cocoa
  • 6 lg. large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • White chocolate glaze
  • Chocolate leaves
  • 12 ounce white chocolate
  • 1/3 c. confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 6 ounce pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pcs
  • 4 teaspoon shortening
  • 3 ounce white chocolate
  • 1 T shortening

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease bottom only of 9 inch springform pan.Heat butter, cream and 3/4 cup sugar over low heat in 2 qt saucepan till butter melts. Remove from heat and stir in cocoa. Freeze mix, stirring occasionally, till slightly thickened, about 15-20 min.
  2. In large bowl, beat large eggs, vanilla and salt at low speed till just blended. Add in flour and 3/4 cup sugar. Beat on high speed till light and fluffy. Stir about 1/4 of egg mix into cooled chocolate mix, then fold all of chocolate mix into egg mix.
  3. Pour batter into pan. Bake 55-60 min till cake is hard in center. Run thin bladed knife around edge of cake to loosen from side of pan. Cool completely in pan. (Cake will fall in center.) Remove side of pan.
  4. Prepare white chocolate glaze: Spread over cake. Chill till glaze is hard.
  5. Prepare chocolate leaves; use to garnish cake.
  6. Heat white chocolate, sugar and shortening in saucepan over very low heat. Cool slightly and spread over cake.
  7. In small saucepan, over low heat, heat semi-sweet chocolate and 4 tsp shortening. In second saucepan, over very low heat heat white chocolate and 1 tbsp shortening.Rinse and dry 16-20 medium sized lemon leaves. Spread semi-sweet or possibly white chocolate mix on underside of each leaf. Chill till hard. Peel each leaf from chocolate. Repeat with remaining chocolate.
