  • 1/2 c. Shortening, (emulsifier type
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 x Large eggs, unbeaten
  • 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Molasses
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Cloves
  • 1/8 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1/3 c. Sugar
  • 1 dsh Salt
  • 1/2 c. Raisins, minced fine
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2/3 c. Water
  • 1/4 tsp Grated lemon rind
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Grated lemon rind
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 c. Confectioner's sugar, sifted
  • 1 dsh Salt
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Water
