- Cook mixed vegetables according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Drain. Combine cooked mixed vegetables, cheese, water chestnuts, onion, and mayonnaise substitute, stirring gently. Spoon mix into a 1 1/2 qt casserole dish coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min or possibly till thoroughly heated. Yield: 8 servings.
