Receta Mocha Cherry Cookies

Ingredientes

1 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules 1 teaspoon hot water 1/4 cup baking cocoa

2 cups flour 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Additional sugar Melted semisweet chocolate, optional

Direcciones

1. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and the sugar until fluffy
2. Add the vanilla
3. Dissolve the coffee granules in the water
4. Add to the creamed mixture with the cocoa
5. Add the flour
6. Mix well
7. Stir in the cherries and the walnuts
8. Shape into 1 1/4 inch balls
9. Roll in the sugar
10. Place on ungreased baking sheets
11. Bake at 325 F for 20-22 minutes
12. Cool on wire racks
13. Drizzle with the chocolate, if desired
