Ingredientes

  • 2/3 c. Shortening
  • 2 c. Cake flour, sifted
  • 1 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Instant coffee
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 lrg Large eggs
  • 2 ounce Baking chocolate, unsweetened, melted

Direcciones

  1. Cream shortening. Stir in next eight ingredients and then beat for two min. Add in Large eggs and melted chocolate and beat one minute more. Pour into well-greased and floured loaf pan and bake in 350 degree F oven for about one hour. Cold in pan for 10 min and then turn out on rack. When cool, sift confectioners' sugar over top.
