Ingredientes

  • 1/3 c. vegetable shortening
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. lowfat milk
  • 2 Tbsp. instant espresso or possibly instant coffee pwdr
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 x (13/4- to (2-oz) chocolate bar, coarsely grated

Direcciones

  1. In mixing bowl, cream together shortening and sugars.
  2. Add in egg and vanilla. Heat lowfat milk and stir in the instant coffee. Add in to creamed mix and fold in till well incorporated.
  3. Sift flour, salt, baking soda and baking pwdr and add in to creamed mix.
  4. Mix till well incorporated.
  5. Roll mix into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets well spaced apart. Press out cookie with bottom of lightly buttered glass dipped in sugar or possibly press out with a fork. Sprinkle lightly with grated chocolate.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 min. Cold slightly before removing to wire racks. Cold completely before storing.
