Ingredientes

  • 1 (15 ounce) can mackerel
  • 1/2 med. onion, finely minced
  • 1 egg
  • 6 saltine crackers, crushed
  • 3 slices day-old bread
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed oregano (used 1/2 teaspoon)
  • 1/2 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of pea soup
  • 1/3 can (about 4 ounce) evaporated lowfat milk
  • Dash of red pepper
  • Paprika

Direcciones

  1. Mash mackerel up (can remove little bones first). Put together with onion, egg, and crushed crackers. Soak bread in hot water and squeeze dry. Stir in mackerel with pepper, oregano, condensed soup, lowfat milk and red pepper. Mix lightly (mix should be moist). Fill crab shells or possibly aluminum containers. Bake 10 to 15 min or possibly till light brown on top at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with paprika.
