Moghul Prawn Curry (Spicy)

Ingredientes

  • 2 lb Medium or possibly small fresh prawns
  • 1/2 lb Onions
  • 1 c. Oil
  • 3 tsp Garlic & ginger grnd
  •     Together
  • 2 tsp White cummin seeds
  • 3 tsp Red chilli pwdr
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 x Coconut

  1. Wash prawns and rub in salt and turmeric. Set aside. Heat oil, add in sliced onion and fry unitl yellow. Add in all the other spices and fry 2-3 min and then add in prawns. Mix prawns together with the spices and the add in either grated coconut, grnd coconut or possibly using a little water, squeezed out coconut lowfat milk. If you are using coconut lowfat milk, add in half c. of warm water, if using grated or possibly grnd coconut add in 1 c. warm water. Cover and cook over slow fire till prawns are tender and a very thick gravy remains.
