Ingredientes

  • 6 c. Cornbread crumbs
  • 5 c. Soft breadcrumbs, toasted
  • 6 x Chicken-flavored bouillon cubes
  • 4 c. ,boiling water
  • 1 c. Celery, finely minced
  • 1 c. Onion, finely minced
  • 1 c. Green pepper, finely minced
  • 1/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine, melted
  • 1/2 lb Bulk pork sausage
  • 1 tsp Poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 4 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. Pecans, finely minced

Direcciones

  1. Combine cornbread crumbs and breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water; pour over crumb mix and stir well.
  2. Saute/fry celery, onion, and green pepper in butter till tender; add in to crumb mix, stirring well.
  3. Brown sausage in a heavy skillet; drain. Stir sausage and remaining ingredients into cornbread mix. Spoon into a lightly greased 13" x 9" x 2" baking dish; bake at 350 degrees F for 45 min.
  4. Yield: 8 servings.
  5. Note: Dressing is too moist to bake in a turkey. (((((((((((((((
