Ingredientes
- 6 c. Cornbread crumbs
- 5 c. Soft breadcrumbs, toasted
- 6 x Chicken-flavored bouillon cubes
- 4 c. ,boiling water
- 1 c. Celery, finely minced
- 1 c. Onion, finely minced
- 1 c. Green pepper, finely minced
- 1/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine, melted
- 1/2 lb Bulk pork sausage
- 1 tsp Poultry seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 4 x Large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. Pecans, finely minced
Direcciones
- Combine cornbread crumbs and breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water; pour over crumb mix and stir well.
- Saute/fry celery, onion, and green pepper in butter till tender; add in to crumb mix, stirring well.
- Brown sausage in a heavy skillet; drain. Stir sausage and remaining ingredients into cornbread mix. Spoon into a lightly greased 13" x 9" x 2" baking dish; bake at 350 degrees F for 45 min.
- Yield: 8 servings.
- Note: Dressing is too moist to bake in a turkey. (((((((((((((((
