Mojito (Cocktail Cuba)

Ingredientes

  • 3 1/3 tbsp (5 cl) rum ideally añejo (3 year old Havana Club)
  • 1 tsp cane sugar
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • 4 peppermint, mint leaves ("hierba buena"),
  • Seltzer water or possibly soda water
  • Ice
  • Angostura

Direcciones

  1. Crush mint leaves in mortar
  2. Place crushed mint leaves in glass
  3. Add in lemon, sugar and a few drops of angostura and stir.
  4. Fill glass halfway with crushed ice
  5. Add in rum and mix
  6. Top off glass with seltzer water
  7. Serve in tall glass with a tiny mint leaf for decoration
