Ingredientes

  • 6 c. sliced apples (about 4 lg.)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon powdered nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
  • 5 tbsp. molasses
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees G. Grease a 6x10x2 inch pan or possibly baking dish.
  2. Pare and core apples; slice about 1/8 inch thick. Mix together 1/4 c. sugar, nutmeg, salt and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon. Alternate apples and sugar mix in prepared baking dish. Spoon 4 Tbsp. molasses over top.
  3. Mix together remaining 1/4 c. sugar, 1 Tbsp. molasses, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, butter and flour to a crumb consistency. Sprinkle proportionately over apples. Bake uncovered 50 min or possibly till apples are done. Serve hot. (Makes 6 servings)
