Ingredientes

  • 1/3 c. light molasses
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. butter
  • 6 c. popped corn, unsalted

Direcciones

  1. Combine molasses, sugar, water, vinegar, and salt; cook slowly, without stirring, to 270 degrees on a candy thermometer (or possibly when small quantity dropped into cool water separates into heavy threads). Remove from heat; add in butter, stirring only sufficient to mix; pour over popped corn, stirring constantly. Shape lightly and quickly into balls. Yield: 8 popcorn balls.
