Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 ounce whipping cream
  • 1 ounce butter
  • 1 1/2 ounce dark chocolate
  • 1/2 ounce water
  •     Molten Cakes
  • 1/2 ounce butter
  • 2 x egg, yolks
  • 3 ounce dark chocolate
  • 1 ounce grnd almonds
  • 1/2 ounce flour
  • 1 ounce cornstarch
  • 2 x egg, whites
  • 1 1/4 ounce sugar

Direcciones

  1. To make the ganache, bring the cream and water to a boil. Add in the minced chocolate and butter and stir to combine. Remove from heat and place in fridge to cold and hard up.
  2. Molten Cakes:For the cakes, mix the egg yolks and butter together till light and creamy.
  3. Add in the chocolate and dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  4. In a separate bowl whip the egg whites till foamy.
  5. Add in the sugar and continue to whip till they form soft peaks.
  6. Fold the whites into the chocolate batter.
  7. Prepare 4 eight oz ramekins by lightly buttering and flouring.
  8. Fill each 1/3 full and place 2 melon balls of the ganache in the centre. Cover with the remaining batter to fill the dishes 2/3 full. At this point the cakes can be refrigerated till ready to bake and serve.
  9. To bake, place in a preheated 325 degrees Fahrenheit oven for about 15 min or possibly till the tops have risen and cracked, the inside should be melted.
  10. Serve immediately with whipped cream or possibly ice cream.
