  • 6 slc Bacon (up to 8)
  • 1 head shredded cabbage
  •     Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c. White vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. Sugar
  •     Water

  5. Saute/fry about 6-8 strips of bacon till crisp. Set bacon aside to drain, and then crumble it into pcs. Add in 1 head shredded cabbage, salt and pepper to taste. Keep turning cabbage in bacon fat till well-coated. In 2 c. glass measuring c., mix 1/4 c. white vinegar, 4 Tbsp. sugar and sufficient water to make 2 c.. Pour over cabbage and cook till tender. Serve with crumbled bacon on top.
